You Are a Diamond

A stone cut from the earth does not one day to the next go from the coarse rock it was to the perfectly cut stone diamond. It takes an especially skilled craftsman to recognize its potential and believe it into being. It takes special tools to mold and shape it into a pleasing form. It takes precise timing and accuracy to cleave it so it can shine. It takes the right setting to show it off and the right buyer to care for it and the right receiver to appreciate its truth worth. All of the components must come into play at just the right moment for everything to flow. The soul is much like this diamond in the rough. But, if we are wise, if we are humble, if we are open to understanding, then what beauty and precision and balance can form from out of that rock. You are a diamond, perhaps still a bit rough around the edges, but rest assured the craftsman in our Lord and Savior holds the instrument which will enable the true beauty of your soul to shine through. He knows just when to cleave you, just where to set you, and just when to put on the finishing touches so that you might be presented in all your glory and brilliance. When the time is upon you, then you will shine in radiant glory for the whole world to see.

Love is the only constant in the Universe. If you always dwell in love then you shall always have a place to dwell.

I have been so greatly blessed in this lifetime to have experienced an extremely deep connection with many loving souls. Each one has been an inspiration to my soul and a joy to my heart. We have laughed together, shared tears, built upon each others dreams, mended broken hearts, and loved deeply and intimately. Some are still with me, others I will carry in my heart forever, just as I carry my love for the Divine.

At times we close down to love for fear of being hurt. However, the hurt is not in loving, but in the separation of that love. Just as we love and step away from our Creators, we love and step away from one another. The love, however, does not fade, for in the reconnection it is felt as deeply and strongly as love can be felt; binding us ever closer to the Divine Energy of life.

In stepping away from one another in this life it is desirable to remember how truly blessed we are to connect so intimately with the soul of another and embrace the honor of their presence, however briefly, in our lives; knowing we will reconnect once again on the Other Side as we all return to our Source.

I work with people every day who have closed their hearts to this powerful and passionate love of the Divine. Some find the intensity too strong to sustain, and others fear the leaving. At times like these I think of Jesus and the extreme amount of love He felt for us and I believe we owe it to ourselves and to God to live our lives with this kind of passion.

We must look beyond the moment of this life and attempt to love everyone with the grace and will of Christ, for in the intense loving of one another we touch on a moment of pure heaven. And in the separation of our unity our soul weeps for our Creators who come and fill that void within us with pure Divine Light, binding us ever closer to one another.

I believe that love expressed, however briefly, opens the heart and expands the universal consciousness of which we are all a part. Unconditional love touches our very soul and remains with us always, encouraging the heart to desire and create an even greater love.

Love is a powerful energy which can not be contained for it will flow where no barrier exists. It can be given freely, but is only received when our hearts are an open channel for its expression to flow through us and back out into the universe. No one can take from us that which we truly own in the depths of our being. It does not come from anywhere but Source, and when we feel lack it is because we and we alone, have narrowed or closed off the avenue for which that love may flow through us. We can never be without love, for we are love. We are the Divine’s ultimate expression of love and are gifted in the sharing of that love with those whose lives we touch. By opening your own heart to love you bring to this universe the ultimate gift of your own unique expression of the Divine.

Do everything in love, for it is love which mends our hearts, which touches our souls, and which strengthens our bond to God.
